Today’s matches have been rained off at Skegness but here’s a summary about how the Castle Hedingham representation is doing:

Mens U25s Singles – Tom Lesslie
Tom has reached the Semi Finals having beaten opponents from Suffolk 21-7 and Nottinghamshire 21-20. He plays the winner between Durham and Derbyshire.

Mens CoC Singles – Roy Etheridge
Roy beat Derbyshire 21-14 ands plays in the Quarter Final against Hunts.

Senior Mixed Pairs – Cliff & Lynda Richardson
Cliff and Lynda won their first round vs.Derbyshire 18 – 14 and play in the Quarter Final against Northants.

Unfortunately Roy was beaten in the Mens 4 wood Singles 20-21 against Derbyshire and the Mens Veteran Singles 14-21 against North Cambs.

Jenny and myself were beaten on the extra end in the Mixed Pairs against Cleveland.

North Essex are doing well especially given we’re the smallest county to compete with four semi-finalists so far and players still in 11 competitions out of the 22 we had representation in.
